Small Bore Rifle Association

An Association of approximately 20 clubs
in or close to West Sussex

Our Objects are to promote Smallbore and Airgun Target Shooting by organising competitions for constituent clubs as may be deemed appropriate from time to time. Shooters can join whichever club is best situated for them., and choose from the various indoor and or outdoor competitions. There are team events as well as individual competitions. Most competitions culminate in an annual finals day, one indoor, and one outdoor, according to the competition.

We are affiliated to The National Smallbore Rifle Association as are the constituent clubs and all shooting activities are conducted under their rules and insurance. Constituent clubs are also affiliated to The N.S.R.A. and this enables members to participate in open competitions throughout the country, and indeed sometimes in other countries.

Our member clubs welcome and encourage new members and usually have facilities to lend all the necessary equipment to prospective new members so that there is no initial capital outlay involved in order to test your interest in taking part. Complete novices need have no fear of never having handled a gun. Guidance and supervision is always given as appropriate and a handicap system operates so that everyone can take part at a level of similar ability.
