Save the Children
in Goring-by-Sea, West Sussex

Save the Children is a non-profit organization
working to create positive, lasting change
for disadvantaged children around the world

 

The Save the Children Preview Evening
at Goring Hall Hospital raised £521 for the funds.
Our sincere thanks to all those who attended
at a most successful and enjoyable evening.

Chris & Kathy Lewis are having an Open House at 37 Ashurst Drive, Goring by Sea on Saturday 26th October, 10am - noon. Free admission, coffee and cake, shop at your leisure or place an order from the exciting new Christmas catalogue.

Margaret Eady is also having an Open House on Saturday 16th November, 10am -noon. 24 Hythe Road - Free admission, coffee and cake, shop at your leisure or place an order from the exciting new Christmas catalogue.

There is a scout bazaar at the Marriott Hall, Goring by Sea on Friday 22nd November 6pm onwards.

Finally, a Country House Christmas Fair takes place on Saturday 7th December at Windlesham House School from 10am until 2pm. Admission Free. Attractions include:
Grannies Attic, Father Christmas, Handmade Gifts, Childrens Crafts, Home Baked Cakes, Seasonal Entertainment, Sports Tournaments, Preserves and Chutneys, Christmas Puddings, Christmas Cards, Christmas Decorations, Handmade Sweets, Tombola, Lucky Dips, Mulled Wine and Mince Pies, Refreshments, Raffle, Games.

All proceeds from the above go to Save the Children.


 

Two children in need

Save the Children is a founder member of the International Save the Children Alliance, an international group of 26 organisations working for children's rights in over 100 countries.

The Alliance is very active working at the India earthquake, the Floods in Mozambique, and in Ethiopia.

You can help in several ways

Help your local fund raising group for two hours during Save the Children Week, distributing or collecting envelopes in your neighbouring roads.
