Although we do receive help within the community, without the money raised from awards we would not be able to fully fund our projects.

South East in Bloom school's competition 2006 Gold Award and 'Best in County' for the school grounds

EDF Award  2005 for designing vegetable boxes along a healthy eating pathway. The boxes are at wheelchair height.

Barclycard Livingland Award 2004
for work done by Year 5/6 on our Thinking Garden. This is a national competition, hundreds of schools applied, and for the third consecutive year we received a runners up certificate and cheque for £250.

Alan Titchmarsh Gardens for Schools Award 2004
For this we received a cheque for £500 towards developing the labyrinth.

Earthwatch Award 2004
Goes to William who will have a week in S. Devon in August working with scientists on the butterfly and cricket population. This will also bring in £150 to spend on our pond project.

Lottery award for £5,000 2004
To equip the workshop and upgrade some of our paths for wheelchairs!

REEP 2003 ( Religious Education and Environmental Programme)
For the design of our Thinking Garden

Award of Excellence 2001, 2002

Best School Garden

Environment Agency Green Link Award 2001:
for Developing a Pond project.

Worthing in Bloom
Winners of best school project: 1999, 2000, 2001.

Blake Shield Awards:
Certificate of Merit in Ward Cup 2001 for Pond project,
2002 for Wildlife Project.

National Grid Award 2002:
together with Worthing Borough Council
to build three new outside learning areas.

Livingland Awards:
Highly Commended 2002 for Wildlife Garden project.
(Sponsored by Barclaycard).

Lottery Award:
2002 for building new outside learning areas.

Hampton Court Flower Show 2002:
Silver Gilt Medal along with 20 other schools for building the School's Garden.

DfES/ Learning Through Landscapes:
Pilot School for developing school grounds.

Earthwatch:
Two awards to develop and plant out the pond and to equip the new pond cabin. 2002
