PRESS RELEASE - 9 May 1999
Courtlands Concert raises £500 for Mayor's Fund Over 100 enthusiastic music lovers picnicked to the sounds of the JSS Ensembles in the idyllic setting of the company's new Grade II listed headquarters in Parklands Avenue, Goring. Steve Russell said: "We were delighted to be able to support the Mayor's charity concert by part-sponsoring the event and by opening our grounds to the public for the evening. We're obviously very pleased that the concert was successful in raising money for St Barnabas and hope that the audience enjoyed the event as much as we enjoyed hosting it. As one of the area's newest neighbours we're proud to be able to play our part in the local community. Mr Chapman said: "The beautifully-restored Courtlands building was the perfect setting for the Voices Changing Worthing Concert. The award-winning JSS Ensembles gave an outstanding performance and even the weather was fairly kind to us! "Altogether we had a wonderful evening and I would like to thank all those who contributed to the fund-raising efforts" Bond International Software carried out a f1.4 million renovation of Courtlands after buying it in August. Bond produces market-leading software for personnel management and recruitment consultancies and operates an international network of five offices from its historic headquarters building.
