PRESS RELEASE - 29 April 1999

Bond Voices Changing Worthing
JSS Singers 6 for 7.30 Sunday 9 May at Courtlands

The idyllic grounds of the imposing Grade II listed Courtlands building in Goring will be the setting for a charity concert on Sunday 9 May 99.

Bond International Software, which carried out a £1.4million renovation of Courtlands after buying it last August, is hosting and part-sponsoring the Voices Changing Worthing concert as part of its community sponsorship programme.

Bond Chairman Steve Russell said, "For many years Courtlands was an important amenity for the people of Worthing and we are delighted to be able to continue this tradition and host the concert which will benefit a very worthwhile cause".

The concert, in aid of St Barnabas Hospice, will feature the award winning JSS Ensemble. It starts at 7.30pm with the gates opening for picnics at 6pm. People should take their own chairs, rugs, and waterproofs.

Mayor David Chapman said, "The JSS Singers very much represent the youth of our town and we were having trouble finding an appropriate site for the concert when Bond stepped in".

Tickets costing £5 can be obtained from the Connaught Theatre box office on 01903-235333 or on the gate on the night.
