Bond launches ground-breaking Adapt software Today (Tuesday, September 18) Bond International Software Plc launches its much-awaited latest release of Adapt. The software equips recruitment, HR and careers organisations with the latest, powerful tools they need to meet the demands of the new millennium. The ground-breaking version features two-way Microsoft Outlook integration, enhanced availability of candidate details, advanced searching, integration with job posting portals, Computer Telephony Interface (CTI) and product branding facilities. European CEO Tim Richards said: "We have an extremely well-resourced research and development division to ensure that the latest technology is incorporated into our software. This latest version of Adapt is the most feature-rich and powerful ever, with the ability to fully integrate with the Web" With the need to easily accommodate the vast majority of recruitment business conducted by email, the functionality of Microsoft Outlook has been incorporated into Adapt. This allows a two-way interface between Outlook and the Adapt system, ensuring that the appointment and meeting type entries are automatically synchronised. Adapt now incorporates a more refined method of recording and displaying candidate availability. In appreciation of the fast pace of the temporary environment, enhancements have been made to the user interface that simplify and accelerate the data entry process, so that information is available in much shorter time. The quality of service that users can offer their temporary staff has been improved dramatically as a result of more accurate, reliable and faster searching. By using a simplified screen interface the search process becomes much more intuitive, making the quest for fast, "right first time" searches a reality. In addition, Adapt's search engine is now even faster, further reducing the time that consultants have to wait for searches to be completed. Those in the staffing industry receive many hits from job boards. However, each has its own formatting style, which means that there is wide range of layouts and structures. Adapt can now take data from its database and automatically adjust it so that it is presented in the style of its host job board, thus significantly reducing the time spent on formatting data. This means that complex data transfers and data mapping are no longer required due to the completely seamless interface that has been developed. Consultants can now post jobs to all manner of job boards. These may be job boards relating to their particular industry, or may be all of the free job boards throughout the world. Adapt also features the latest Computer Telephony Interface which integrates an Adapt system with a telephone system. Using TAPI compliant technology, Adapt can automatically dial phone numbers at the click of a mouse, access records of an incoming caller, and help manage missed calls. And to reflect the importance of a generic, corporate system, Adapt can now also be configured to display a company's name or logo, and tailored to their specific brand and identity. Bond, which has eight offices worldwide in the UK, Italy, US, Australia, Canada and South Africa, now has an estimated 25.000 users in 36 countries of its flagship product Adapt.
