News Release - Apr 9 2001

Appointments at Worthing-based Bond reflect key strategic growth

Global staffing software producer Bond International Software Plc has appointed two new directors, reflecting the company's commitment to developing its core areas of product development and customer service.

The publicly-quoted company, which earlier this week turned in record end of year results showing sales up 11 per cent to £9.4 million and an operating profit of £1.12 million, has bolstered its tier of senior management with the appointments of Alastair Murray as commercial director and Daniel Richardson as research and development director.

Alastair has been with the company for seven years and was previously head of account management. In his new role, he will be focusing on improving all levels of customer service throughout the organisation.

And Daniel, who was information systems manager at Bond, will be evaluating global changes in technology to ensure that the company's flagship Adapt software incorporates the latest industry offerings and maintains its position as market leader.

Group chief executive Steve Russell said: "We have had a very successful year and are entering a period of sustained growth. We are investing heavily in two crucial areas of the business to ensure that we have the infrastructure in place to enable us to achieve our ambitious targets for the year ahead.

Over the past year, Bond has ploughed £1.3 million into product development. It also successfully launched the web-based Adapt product range and Adapt ASP in the UK.

Bond's software and services are used globally by more than 22,000 people in over 36 countries. It has seven offices worldwide in the UK, US, Canada, Australia and South Africa, including its global headquarters in Parklands Avenue, Goring, where it employs 105 people.
