Worthing and Adur Business Forum hosted by Bond
Shadow Minister speaks at launch meeting

Shadow Secretary of State for the Environment, Archie Norman MP, will be guest speaker at the launch the new MP-led Worthing and Adur Business Forum on June 22 at Bond's UK headquarters in Parklands Avenue, Goring. West Worthing MP Peter Bottomley and East Worthing and Shoreham MP Tim Loughton will also attend

West Worthing, and East Worthing and Shoreham Conservative Associations have created the forum in a bid to forge closer links between local businesses and their politicians.

Mr Bottomley said: "Having visited scores of our constituency companies over the past three years we are keen to promote closer working relationships in our mutual interests". Mr Loughton added: "We want to help Worthing and Adur remain "the most profitable place to do business" in the UK".

Publicly-listed Bond, which featured in a television programme about booming companies in Worthing, have around 115 staff at their UK office in addition there are another 50 staff based at their offices in the US, Australia and South Africa.

Bond international Software PLC chief executive Steve Russell said: "We are delighted to have been asked to host the first ever business forum, which we hope a great many businesses will find informative and beneficial"

The forum will be open to all companies in the two constituencies Modelled on similar groups run at Westminster, the group will organise a calendar of events including parliamentary dinners and constituency seminars. focusing on a wide range of business-related themes.
